Terrazzo consists of chips of marble, quartz, granite, glass, or other suitable material, mixed into cement. As it is a porous format, real terrazzo requires sealing, where as porcelain terrazzo look tiles give you the effect but require no sealing or ongoing maintenance. They also provide greater grip and slip resistance for your floors.
